it's nice to meet you. my name is asa. i like reading, making things, and being by bodies of water.
i studied Neuroscience and used to be an EMT. then i learned how to machine. it made me happy, so that's what i've been doing ever since. out of a nook in my cottage, i make almost everything using a combination of milling and hand tools. i enjoy the machine accuracy, but prefer when there's a ghost inside.
my design focus is on objects that go in your pocket. honestly, everything i make, i start by making for myself. i'm just lucky that other people also like what i like. the list is ever-changing, but that includes: tools, klein blue, micarta, thoughtful details, and patina.
i think the things people keep close by are a reflection of who they are, and i would be honored if you chose to carry one of my oooobjects. my time is split between designing/building airships (my day job) and making objects (out of office.) i'm busy, but when i count my blessings, i count you twice.
